Self-Selecting Your Financial Tier
I use a tiered investment model designed to balance sustainability and accessibility. Each tier has a limited number of spots available, and some tiers may have a waitlist at times.
Please review the descriptions below and select the rate that best reflects your current financial reality.
There’s no application process — this is based on your own honest self-assessment.
Tier 1
Grant-Funded
For clients experiencing systemic barriers or significant financial hardship that make paid therapy inaccessible.
You may fall into this tier if:
-
You have difficulty meeting basic needs (food, housing, transportation).
-
You have little to no savings (not including retirement).
-
You receive government assistance or are a dependent of someone who does.
Available only through specific grant-funded programs for youth. These spots are limited and may have a waitlist.
Tier 2
Supported Rate
For clients with limited financial stability who are stretching to afford therapy.
You may fall into this tier if:
-
You have one month or less of living expenses saved (not including retirement).
-
Paying the standard rate would mean sacrificing essentials such as rent, food, or medical care.
-
You are a student, under-employed, or supporting dependents with limited resources.
-
You do not have access to outside financial support from family or community.
Supported-rate spots are limited and may require joining a waitlist.
Tier 3
Sustainable Rate
For clients with moderate financial stability who can generally meet their needs without significant strain.
You may fall into this tier if:
-
You have more than one month of living expenses saved (not including retirement).
-
You can comfortably meet your needs and can often afford non-essentials such as dining out, hobbies, or travel.
-
You earn a steady income that covers your expenses but may not allow for substantial savings growth.
-
You pay your own bills without significant external financial support.
Tier 4
Full Rate
This is my standard rate and reflects the full cost of the time, expertise, and care I provide.
You may fall into this tier if:
-
You have two or more months of living expenses saved (not including retirement).
-
You have stable income, own property or investments, or have low debt.
-
You can consistently afford non-essentials such as travel, dining out, or leisure purchases.
-
You receive family financial support, generational wealth, or other assets that increase your financial stability.
How to decide?
Choose the tier that feels both honest and sustainable. Your rate can be adjusted later if your circumstances change.
All clients receive the same level of care, professionalism, and commitment regardless of tier.
